The J. McGrath Library and Resource Center works to be the most diverse, multi-cultural,
and child friendly literary center in the area. Children of all ages and abilities are able to
utilize and appreciate the diverse literary tools that our library provides. We are currently
fundraising to expand our library. Please become a Library Sponsor..

Things of My Very Own, Inc.
Some unique features of our library include:
* Books and publications that are specific to
children in foster care.
* Books for children with sight impairments.
* Books and publications written by former
foster children as well as those currently in
care.
* Storybooks containing diverse family
structures.
* Books that encourage sensory stimulation
(e.g. Auditory, olfactory, etc.)
* Pre-reading activity books
* And much more...
The library also sponsors a program that
encourages children to write their own story
and have it published in hard cover book
form. Children are given a copy of their book
to keep. Participants will have the option to
donate an additional copy of their book to our
library so that others may read about and be
inspired by their experiences for years to
come.
